Summer Layering | Easy as One, Two, Three

BE A LAYER PLAYER

For those well versed in necklace layering, it's a throw-on-and-go activity that requires minimum thought and delivers maximum impact.

However, if you're new to stacking, we thought it might be useful to put together a few helpful pointers that will encourage you to give it a go!

THE RULE OF THREE

There are no rules when it comes to the number of necklaces to include in an ensemble, but layering three is a good place to start. Odd numbers allow variety, without the look getting too cluttered and let you experiment with different lengths and weights.

As a ready-made solution, consider our Gold Layering Set of 3 featured below.

THE SELECTION PROCESS

Select one necklace initially, then choose a high and a low one - pieces that are easy to style around the centre choice. To create an aesthetic balance, a dainty chain or charm will highlight the collarbone, whilst a heavier looking pendant is best displayed further down.

THICK & THIN

Opt for a mix of slim and chunky chains to create a sense of depth and texture. The lighter weights will compliment the heavier piece(s) to bring a sense of balance.

LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING

Our versatile lariats are a great way to create a layered necklace from just one piece, by simply wrapping the chain twice around the neck. Team with a chunkier chain to amplify depth and texture.

For the maximalists amongst you, we finish with a 4-piece layout, featuring a t-bar, 2 compass dials and a lucky number 7. This makes for an exciting and eye-catching extravaganza!
