As a licensed Fairmined brand, we use Fairmined gold and silver to plate all handmade linked pieces, earrings and bangles. Fairmined certification ensures these metals come from small-scale mining organisations committed to responsible environmental, social and business practices, while also guaranteeing miners receive a fairer price and additional investment into their communities.
All fine chains are made from recycled 925 sterling silver by an Italian manufacturer certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council, and finished with an anti-tarnish seal to help extend the life of each piece.
Our collections are produced in the UK, Italy, Thailand and Bali by carefully selected artisan partners, many of whom Tilly has worked with for decades. These long-standing relationships allow us to maintain high standards of craftsmanship, continuity and responsible production.
Sustainability also extends beyond the jewellery itself. Our packaging is made from responsibly sourced, 100% recycled materials, and we work with DHL Express, whose sustainability commitments include achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
